Her oncologist had already started her on Velcade. My insistence just helped prevent her from putting her treatment behind and extra week. I'm still trying to convince her to go back on Dex, but in a higher dose than she had been receiving, as I am still convinced her reduction in kidney function was a result of her insistence to go off it completely in the first place.
